My Nevada Hunt

Hey all,

I got back from Nevada this week. Had a great time. Didn't see any monsters, but had fun exploring new country. I took this buck on the last day. He was the second biggest I saw the whole trip...

My buddy took a pretty good buck himself...

Love the horse pack'n trips, and head'n out with two racks lashed down is a great feeling, what an awsome hunt. Congrats to you, keep'n my fingers crossed for next year NV high country here I come!

Thanks for the replys everyone,

First time that I have used horses to pack in. Usually backpack it. Man, what a difference in the type of camp you can have. The best is having real food instead of the dehydrated meals.

Had one heck of a wind storm on the second night that trashed our tent and tossed our gear around. Snapped both cross poles and ripped one of the walls away from the floor. Never seen anything like it. This is what we had to crawl out from...

This is not a door...
