Utah's elk quality blows!

Traditional >>>------->

This guy was either hunting from a front end loader when he shot this stud or that bull was extremely close to a road and the guy backed up to him and rolled him into the truck. Stud bull though.

I was thinking the same thing. Did they cut just behind the shoulder? Awesome bull!

I don't think there is any other quality
so essential to success of any kind as the
quality of perseverance. It overcomes
almost everything, even nature.

Stud of a Bull, love all those small stickers. P lake area can be very good sometimes.

Sounds like the hunter maybe a local guy out of Cedar city. Alonzo A. if anyone knows him.

Awesome to see another archer get another monster down on that unit. Ill bet that guy didnt ask how to hunt elk when they dont bugle during the hunt. Some of these posts latley of guys asking questions that sounds to me they are afraid of going out on the mountain and hunting. They need some assurance from someone else on here. Might as well turn in your tag and let the guy that knows the mountain and dont care if they bugle all day long get a chance at em. Sorry to gey off topic. This is a giant bull killed during a monsoon, the rut is just kinda starting and he used a bow. Just go Hunt.. Great Bull.

@hogg_65 Last time I checked the whole purpose of forums is to discuss questions like the guy that wanted to chat about what other guys do while elk are not bugling. Maybe you shouldnt be on this forum and you should be out hunting? Why are you on here reading this?. "You should be on the mountain".

An elk like that would be worth waiting numerous years for a chance to hunt. That is some serious headgear to pack around. Bull of a lifetime for sure.

WTH they do?

Shoot him out the Truck Window?

JUDAS!

That bull is a freaking monster!! My favorite bull killed in a long time. The mass and color alone set him apart from most bulls killed! Love his devil points as well. To get it done with a bow on that unit is pretty dang impressive and a miracle. most guys eat tag soup on the muzzy and the rifle! I bet you made some rifle hunters who knew about this bull pretty discouraged! ha. Get on here and tell the whole story.
