Nevada Wilderness Bull

He may not be the biggest bull in Nevada, but he definitely makes my book! I packed in almost 8 miles, by myself when I arrowed this guy. Took just over 14 hours to pack him out (boned him out and brought out 3 packs of over 80lbs).

Beautiful country, great hunt, and really satisfying to have done it by myself; as a side note, I hope I never have to pack out an elk, that far, by myself ever again!

The third picture is the bull that stepped out right after I shot mine. Mine green scored just over 321" (would've been over 330, if his left G-5 hadn't been broken off). I judged the 2nd bull at around 360 (the pics really didn't do him justice). All in all, I saw just over 20 5/6 pt bulls. Really a great experience.

That is a great bull. Sounds like it was an exciting hunt and you earned it with the pack out. Congrats.

My back hurts for you. What a great experience. Packing a bull out 8 miles by yourself makes me believe you actually might have the strength to wrestle moose.

You got a good bull, BUT that second one was the king of the woods, Hope you draw another tag next year for that unit and you rent, borrow, steal, swindle a few horses and find that big one again. LOL

That is a great bull. That second bull is a stud. That is quite the accomplishment bringing that bull out by yourself that far. Congrats.

In 14 hours! holy mack, man, you be faster than Usain bolt. I wonder if the olypmics would consider elk packing as a sport?

Great bull! I have told myself repeatedly to stop killing them so far from roads, but I dont listen to myself, ever. :D
