Brian

Hey Brian,

How is your season going so far any luck this year? I was only able to hunt Idaho with my son and cousin and his son in the general season, I didn't have any luck but my cousin got a nice one, he green scored 191".

It was the 3rd day of our hunt my cousin and his son were spread out along a ridge line watching a large drainage, things had been pretty slow the to that point my son and I were in the next drainage when we heard my cousin on the radio, he told his son he hadn't seen anything and was going to give it another couple of minutes and then he was going to move on. It wasn't more than a minute later we heard a single shot and then confirmend on the radio he had got one.

He said he heard a small noise in some rocks below but didn't see anything so he threw up his binoc's that's when he seen the buck and it was was stareing right at him, he knew it was a really good buck and it only took a second to down him with a single shot at 178 yards with his 300 win mag.

Could you post his picture for me and maybe this little story? his name is Jim Pedigo aka "HWH Muley"

Great looking buck, It's hard to sit and sit, but sometime it does pay off. Really like the frame on this deer.

What a damn nice buck. Still have two weeks before my Co. hunt. Thx for sharing.

Nice buck!
Good mass

By the way,
I live in UT.
There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.

Thanks Brian,

My son lives in Idaho and had been scoutin the area the whole summer, ironically the bucks he had been watching were AWOL for the opener, funny how they tend to do that. That what makes hunting great, it's like my cousin was saying around the camp fire that night, if he hadn't stick it out for just a couple more minutes that buck my still be walking around today.

Congrats Jim after all the years of huntin hard you finally struck gold in Idaho.

Rick
