General season spike bull

Hey everyone I'm getting ready for the general season spike bull elk.
I have been having bad luck with the elk the last few years and really would like to get something this year. I'm switching up my area and going to try the wasatch I have done some scouting and have turned up elk but no spikes. I also bought a elk control permit and was wondering how many guys bought them to just wondering if its going to be a hillside of orange up there? If anyone has some good pointers or good directions on how to hunt up there it will be much appreciated . I'm going to be up by current creek

Hunter orange on every hillside. Joys of hunting general season hunts in Utah. Good luck on your hunt. Focus on hunting in the dark nasty timber, after the first few shots are fired.
