Here is my buck from 2007. 4x4 with some nice eye guard. Had made this hunt in the past but thought we would try it again. Was really glad my boy wanted to make the same hunt again. I wish I could say I made an amazing shot but it was only 75 yards and he had no idea I was in the country. I was suprised as I got up to this buck. No ground shrinkage with him.
We green scored him at the taxidermist and got 190 3/8. Net was 183 7/8. Was a great start to our 2 week hunt. Ended up getting 2 other deer in our party(small bucks) and a shot a 4 point bull to boot. Made for an excellent hunt and had a great time.
On another note I am real familiar with some of the people on this site. Brandon Fordin (went to school and grew up with him) and Chris Lacey (have an original pencil sketch from my rodeo days he did). Been a long time since I have partied with Chris and gone golfing. Good to see some of my old friends still around.

Man that's a nice clean 4x4 I can see why he scores so good. Congrats on a super buck.

That's a beauty of a four point with eye guards to boot.. Nice deer.. Congrats to you, He will look great on the wall.

By the way,
I live in UT.
There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.

Thats a fantastic buck my question is where did you get your rifle stock?I like those thumbhole stocks is that a custom rifle and what caliber you shooting?
That just might be my favorite picture of the year so far the buck, the background, and the bad azz looking rifle to boot.
Good Job.

Thanks for all the grats. Glad you all like it. As for the rifle it is a custom built by the Davy Crockett Gun Shop in Pocatello. I picked out the blank and they built it for me with the thumb hole. Its a 300 Win. Mag with a Burris 3x9 and I also have a muzzle brake on it. Its a little heavy after packing it all day but worth it. After 13 years you get used to it.

General season tag. I am like most people and haven't had any luck drawing a tag.
