I'd like to kill one of those bucks someday. I've seen a couple smaller cactus bucks while scouting and hunting, but never a very big narly one.
Unique is always cool.

Ive never seen one ut my dad caught one in N.mex during the 1966 hunt. Next time I go see them, i need to get that pic and post it. Way cool congrats

Did anyone see the cactus buck down on the henrys this year?

I saw one in the pausnagunt in 2000' it was a 3x3 with trash and drops but I was after a monster 4x4! I pointed it out to a local how was more than happy to harvest it... I seen it had 3 nuts and large nipple like it had fawns... I think the Pausn is better off with out him..that same day I seen a 4xclub...
on one side had a dropped club..base like a baseball bat and the other side was a very large 4 with 14" tines for forks too bad I thought...if same on both sides it would have given the BURRIS Buck a run at the book..... weird!
I guess I want hard bone.....(easy there cowboy!!)lol.

They are ugly and I would not shoot a steer deer! I guess you wonldn't have to haul the head out though.

I'd shoot a stag someday. Cool buck. What did he have for testicles? We got one like that this year and he had one nut, about the size and shape of a lima bean.

It sure is a different type of buck. I wouldn't want to take a fork horn cactus buck but a cactus buck that had some type of growth that was unique to it like this one I would shoot. One type of antler look I would love to have is one like the Seeps buck. That was a cool looking buck. In my humble opinion...
