Been a bit busy this fall and apologize for not posting this one earlier.

Now I don't know all the details behind this buck but I thought I would post a couple pics of a Washington buck killed during our high hunt (mid Sept) this year. I don't know too much of the details other than the pics were sent to me from my friend who knows the hunter who killed it (and he says I have permission to post away so I hope I don't get lit up). The only score he knew was 194 (no idea if it's net or gross). Regardless, it's a great buck, let alone for Washington. Just goes to show if you're really dedicated good things can happen.

I understand they located this buck in July and sat on him almost every weekend until the opener. I'll try and get more details for what it's worth. The only sad part to me is he decided to only do a euro mount but hey, it's not my buck. I just hope he passed on his genes. Regardless, he's a toad in my book.

that is a great buck, thanks for the pics nothing like chasing bucks in the high country i was recently in the area where that hunt was an i met up a good hunter who had some impressive deer from that area i think you should get with your buddy and get your self one like that cause thats not the only one up there

Forget how many points that thing has... How many chins does that thing have? He probably opted to have it done european because the cost of stuffing that hog would have costed an arm and a leg just in stuffing... Thing probaby wouldn't hang on the wall with all the clay and bondo used to fill that hide..in addition to the mold.

Wow, dang nice buck! Has it all in my book, congrats to the hunter!

2+ Great buck..

Poor guy, he locates, scouts, patterns, and kills a buck like that and he doesn't even get to be in the picture with his own buck on Monster Muleys.com Didn't even make the website with his own buck, I am sure that this ruined the whole experience for him now.

Very nice Buck.
I'm sure he would of did a mount if the hide was a winter hide, late summer hide are pretty thin with hair, they sometimes just not up to pare, now if he can find a rut season hide(swollen neck and all) for that bad boy.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-12-07 AT 09:11PM (MST)[p]What are you talking about flyguide?

How can that ruin the experience?

Folks, need to make a huge apology to the shooter. Flyguide?s correct in that I got so caught up in the buck, I didn't validate who the shooter was. I originally posted pics of his buddy who was with him on the hunt. So, the correct hunter who killed this buck is in the following pics. I still don't have any more details but hope to someday check out that rack (if allowed? lol?.)

Again, my apologies to the shooter.
