My boy is finally ready to hunt elk and I've heard from a few people that New Mexico would be a great place for a youth only hunt. I have never hunted in the state and have no idea what would be a good area to hunt.
He can do archery, muzzy, or rifle.
Not super concerned with sizes- anything over 300 would be amazing. Mostly want him to have a great experience. We aren't scared to hike in and camp, etc.
