LAST EDITED ON Feb-28-14 AT 05:32PM (MST)[p]Looks like some have gotten their results from this past year. As someone else mentioned I thought it would be fun to have a thread with a picture of your bull and what it aged at. Whether this year or years past, lets see them.

I'll start

Your bull elk's Age. 7 (2013)

Sweet, Just checked mine and his age came in right where I've been thinking it would.

8 years old 2013 Manti bull

My Bull taken in NV was old as only had one Ivory left never thought at the time to have it aged as the Outfitter/Guide said it look to be about 15-16 years old....so too late now to take that tooth and have it aged.

I couldn't help but think that antler size isn't JUST age related. The belief that bucks and bulls all need old age to have big bones apparently isn't always reality. Reminds me of some of 6'4" ninth graders I've known. Course, on the other hand, I've known some (not many) that grew 8" or 10" after they left high school.

Cool pic. thanks for sharing.

Love those backs. Super unique, gigantic bull!

Give us the story and score?

Congrats!

Since these bulls and age are mainly from Utah, was there or is there a place that you sent your tooth if for aging? You mentions F&G, so is it JUST Utah F&G that does this or other states?
I found on Google.com a place in MT that does aging and it is like $60 for the testing.

When you draw a LE tag in Utah the UDWR sends you a packet with instructions on sending the teeth back. You are required to complete a survey on the UDWR website. Usually around March you are able to go on the site and see the age on your survey.

My 2013 Fish Lake bull- 12 years old. Not the best picture. He is barely a 6x6. Actually he has a little cheater coming off his left side so almost a 6x7, but still just a 6x6. Sounds a little confusing, I know.

My daughter messed up my computer so it may take me a while to upload my picture, sorry.

Bonehead13 - is that a Dutton bull? Nice!

7MM08 - I love that bull, can't get over how cool he is!
