I've been looking at googleearth and have chosen a new hunting location to scout out for 2008. Its in Nevada's area 10 in the wilderness area of the Ruby mountains. It will require plenty of walking and camping out of a backpack. I've chosen a rugged canyon with a ridgeline that goes for several miles with plenty of drops and climbs in elevation and will sure enough turn any man into a sissy, ha ha. I'll be looking for unpressured bucks that any man in his right mind would be crazy to pursue in some of Gods most beautiful country on earth. So far there is no snow and I may get a scouting trip in this year.
So what are your plans? Hunting the regular hunting grounds or do you have new plans?

I will hike with you and see some new country to chase gods most beautiful creation (other than my wife). What could be better.

Rooster, in a couple of days I'm headed to a place I've never hunted before. After this hunt, I'll probably never hunt it again, at least not the late hunt. I'm excited. Hope the rut kicks in and I find a decent Muley.

New area for me. As bessy would say the areas full of pisscutters.

Overton, I'll look for you while I'm up there but area 10 is a big place. On the other hand, I'll just be looking for BIG BUCKS!!!!
Thanks guys for offering your company but in the last couple of years I've gained several new pards and can't fit any more into the picture at this time. fatrooster.

I have been wanting to hunt 10 for a long time. I just need to draw the NR tag.....

My uncle lives out in Lamoille and has chased bucks on 10 his whole life. He has taken some GREAT bucks and has pictures of even bigger ones!!!!!!!!! I just need to get out there and draw the dang tag!
