I applied this year with 10 nonresident points for Wasatch muzzleloader. Last year 10 points was a sure thing. Then the state added one or two more nonresident tags to the Wasatch, so I figured this is a slam dunk, BUT, nothing yet. It makes me wonder if applications increased that much this year, for that hunt, or I am really just that unlucky. I must say, my luck has been crap the last several years, so maybe.

Good luck to those who have drawn.

Always hard to say, cards are still getting hit though...I went into Wyoming feeling that way for Moose and got a big no! You just never know now days as guys are burning points they've had...

I put my hunting partner in for the same hunt with 11 points, and he hasn't had any lucky charge either! :(

But 9 points last year only had a 11% chance of drawing, and the point creep has bee 1 per year

I dont know where you was looking to come up with your sure thing, but last year there was 3 NR applicants with 10 points and only 1 of them drew, there was 7 with 9 and none of them drew. so you would have a slight chance at a bouns tag this year but by no means a sure thing.

here is a link to the draw odds from last year. Hunt:3095 or Page #319

Just found out today that my brother drew a muzzy wasatch tag. I believe he had about the same amount of points as you but they were resident points. Excited to get on the mountain and chase some big stinkies.

I got my UDWR email last night with my drawing results. So hitting cards may be done by now. Mine was hit on 5/17.
