DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED ON THE HENRIES THIS YEAR???

JUST WONDERING IF YOU OR ANYBODYELSE KNOWS IF 1/2 OF THESE PERMITS GO TO HIGHEST POINTS HOLDERS & THE OTHER 1/2 OF THEM GO TO LESSER POINTS HOLDERS???

Sure they have. Odds are up and listed on the DWR web page. I doubt you will get a permit though.

I talked to a hunter who drew a rifle tag with 3 points, so it is possible.

The tag allotments won't be determined until after the winter counts, and hunter success numbers from 2007 are computed. Winter counts are usually done in March. Anyone can draw, if you apply.

Good luck, I WILL be hunting elk next fall with my bow, then I will start adding to my deer point total.

I don't own a rifle for one. And, since I took heat for comments about the LE early rifle hunt from ktc and others, NO WAY IN HELL would I hunt with a rifle.

Punch in "Premium mule deer hunts in Utah, choose the weapon your intersested in seeing the results on and it will break down who drew what with how many points. I beleive they are still the 2006 stats, but it hasn't changed much.

Will you come be MY shooter when i draw my Henries tag?
I may be too busy peeing my pants looking at that 220" buck through my scope!!

Stick flipper or bust for me indeed. I don't believe for ME there is any other options. Then it will be time to start praying for a deer tag, archery of course.

Slamdunk, you will be just fine, I'll let you use some shooting sticks to keep those tree trunks you call arms steady.

My neighbor drew the Henries tag last year with 1 point!!!!!! WTF!!

He is just lucky I guess! I am holding out for the Sportsmans tag!! hahahaha

It was the 06 tag and he killed a 35" 6x7 I think it scored around 198" or something like that! It was a stud though!!

I still hate him for drawing with only 1 point!!!!!!!!

Me and my Brother went down this past weekend and seen quite a few bucks probably two over 200 hundred a 4x7 about 35 wide and then a giant typical right at dark but he was busted up he was a pig!
