Big Nevada Mule Deer, Post Your Heads

I noticed that the recent post asking for shoulder mount suggestions got a lot of responses but as I looked at all the nice bucks I was bummed that most didn't have any info with them. So anyway, I was home for Thanksgiving and since I don't have any nice bucks on my wall yet, I thought I would snap a picture of my dad's Nevada muleys and start a post for some nice muley mounts. But this time when you post your pics, throw a little info up with them like general location, year, score, etc.. Makes looking at all the nice bucks that much more enjoyable.

Anyway, here are my dad's. All are norhtern Nevada bucks killed from the mid 1980's to the mid 90's. The buck second from the left grosses over 190 and nets 187 3/8 despite having no eye guards. The one on the right scores in the high 170's. I don't believe the non-typical on the left has ever been scored. Anyway, I though this would be an enjoyable post. for those of you that have killed rams, I am going to do a similar post in the sheep forum with my Nevada rams.

Ha! I didn't even notice the wooden decoy in the corner of the shot. I carved tha sucker in woodshop when I was a senior in high school! It looks pretty good up there with all those other decoys. I guess that makes it about 12 years old Mntman, almost an antique!

Here is a pic of my little bro's 22 muzzleloader buck. Kind of crappy pics but I will post some better ones when I get em. Not a hog by no means just a cool buck with big cheaters. Stretched the tap to 31" wide. He is currently winning the Ely, Nevada big buck contest with only two hunters to go. Enjoy!

By the way,
I live in UT.
There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.

Damn, those are all nice deer.

Here's three of mine. I was too cheap to mount the last two. Actually I really don't have room for many mounts and sure didn't have money for them back when I shot them. Wish I had. Wish I was that young again. :)

awsome pic, high ceiling, great taxadermy work, awsome bucks,,,yet another reason to move to nevada.

Yes... that is a nice Nevada Herd!!! I really like the two middle sneaking poses. Who did the Taxidermy work--or is it a big secret too beside the hunting spot??

The two center bucks were mounted by a guy out of California (I believe). He did a lot of bucks for my family during that time. Haven't sent anything to him in a long time so I don't even know if he is still around. I will have to find out his name.
