For those who say the results are slanted, biased, etc....the reality is when you compare the web site hits to the number of survey respones, I estimate about 2.3 web hits per respondant, meaning very few read the data anyway. Most hit the home page, and went straight to the poll, without reading any of the information.

This could just as well be a 3 question survey. 1. Are you a resident that does not own any land/habitat? 2. Are you a resident who owns land/habitat or an outfitter. 3. Are you a non-resident who has watched his hunting opportunities diminish and the costs escalate? It is pretty simple to predict how the first 2 groups would answer and as opportunities diminish for #3 they are going to join the landowners camp (read pay to hunt). This all about self interest on all sides of the issue. Big surprise that the non land owning resident wants more tags.
