It's all over!!

So now that the extended season hunt is over, who tagged a buck durring the extended season? Who got shots? This was the second year in my 15 years of bowhunting that I was not given the oppertunity for a shot. I did have two small bucks that that I didn't try too hard to pursue, so I guess that would have been my opertunity.

I only got out for the extended 2 times, and nothing, going out wed. to look for a doe.

I SHOT THIS BUCK A WEEK OR SO AGO. IT'S MY FIRST ARCHERY BUCK EVER. I MISSED SOME BIGGER BUCKS BEFORE I ACTUALLY HIT THIS ONE. IT WAS THE THIRD STALK AND THE 5TH AND 6TH ARROW THAT FINALLY DID THE JOB. I HIT HIM TWICE AND THE SECOND HIT WAS A FULL PASS THROUGH. I'M HOOKED ON BOW HUNTING BIG TIME NOW! WHAT A HUNT.

This is my last day buck. I got one other shot at a buck during the hunt that was a 3x4 with a 5" cheater that had another 1"-2" cheater comming off of that. I saw some great bucks through out the hunt. I will send a video clip here of a great non typical that I filmed during the hunt. He had 8 scoreable points per side with one cheater that I think would go 8" long.

This is the buck I got the day after Thanksgiving! First buck in 7 years of hunting on the extended unit. Have seen a lot of monsters in those years and missed my fair share! Biggest buck I saw this year was this guy 25 inches wide 22 inches tall.

those are some great bucks guys!! Any of you want to share a general location where you all scored? Don't need a specific canyon, just wondering if they were Ogden, Salt Lake, or inbetween.

Mine was taken in the Salt Lake area! It was crazy cuz there were like 32 deer with him and 12 of them were smaller bucks he kept chasing off! It was fun to watch though!
