It has been a super tough summer on the Pauns. My boy has the archery tag and has spent a considerable amount of time scouting, hanging cameras, etc. He has yet to turn up a bull better than a decent rag horn. The Pauns can be a tough, tough elk hunt. I would think long and hard before you accept that tag and are out of the game for the amount of points she has and the five year waiting period. I have seen better bulls on General OTC areas this year than what I have seen showing up on the Paunsaugunt. Not too surprised to see tags being turned in down there, my boy may be in that same boat before the hunts starts. Best of luck whatever you decide.
