LAST EDITED ON Dec-09-07 AT 09:30AM (MST)[p]I spent ten days chasing bucks on the AZ Strip last month - 13A. Did see some good bucks, but not the monster I was looking for.

I did get 15 minutes of cool buck fighting videofootage. A heavy and tall 26" 4x3 fighting a heavy and short 28" 5x5. The 5x5 eventually wins.

I have edited out the pieces where they move behind the trees and are out of view.

I hope this post doesn't get nuked for the clip being hosted by Photobucket.

It was filed from 400 yards away, but still is pretty cool footage.

Gila:

That was the day before Thanksgiving. What would that have been, Wednesday the 21st, I think?

Big Fin, I hunted 13A also this year, I would like to discuss how your hunt compared with our hunt. Will you shoot me an e-mail [email protected]

I think it would be fun to compare notes, and what you thought of the hunt.

Did either buck break any points off in the fight? Were they just fighting or were there does in the area?Last year in 13a during the sheep hunt we taped a very good 7x7 31 wide that would have scored in the 220 range.A couple bucks we saw had many points broken off.

It almost looked like they were locked up and couldn't seperate. I hope they survived. No doe is worth losing your life over.

Must be two pretty evenly matched bucks to fight that long...
Cool stuff....Thanx!

By the way,
I live in UT.
There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.
