Wondering if anyone had any good luck on the rifle hunts. Getting ready for the archery hunt on the 1st of Jan. Post some pics.

I was a little disapointed in the quality of bucks. We saw a ton of deer and a lot of little bucks. We hiked in to quite a few areas and glassed with no better luck. 160 is the best buck we saw and he was impossible to get to with the crunchy 4 inches of snow that we had. Lots of people driving the roads and lots of people hiking, TOO many tags probably. Killed a 21 inch 3x4 130 class. Did you hunt it?

I havnt hunted there. Was thinking of putting in for the tag but maybe i wont now!!! Thanks for the info!! My huntin fool mag talked highly of the unit. just wanted to do my own research. Thanks again!!

Thanks to Garth, it's at least 3-5 times harder to draw that tag the last few years than it used to be...gotta love all that mass publicity.

Sorry man!! Know how you feel! a lot of units are like that in Idaho! Just out lookin for some diff hunts. I take it you hunt there?

I'm sure he will help you out. He works for a well servicing company in 2 and is out in the field almost everyday.

We saw him almost everyday of our hunt this last year. He was friendly and helpfull and seemed like a pretty strait shooter. And he spoke highly of you JFWRC. He knew his stuff but was pretty humble for a young guy w/ his experience. I would reccomend him to people after talking with him a few times.
