I haven't posted in a while but I need some help on unit 61 first rifle elk. My dad has this tag this year. I have hunted deer in 61 twice but that was third season and I assume the elk are not going to be where we have seen them in the past . I know this is getting late but due to a divorce and the death of a grandparent we have been unable to get down on the unit. We are going to be going down next weekend for three days this is going to be our only shot to scout. Any info would be very much appreciated.
