It was a very different year, but a great hunt. All the bulls we had spotted prior to the hunt moved, the week before the start of the hunt. Then the rain, came and went changing patterns. Thanks to all those that helped, and made this trip memorable.

The Blood Moon was big and bright after the evening hunt.

Great friends, Great times, and Great Memories.

Thank you for the comments.

This was a Utah Limited Entry hunt. The bulls seemed to move the second week of August, as they were rubbing their velvet. And they continued to move in search of cows, right up to the end of the hunt. The big storm that closed the I-15 freeway, affected the animals as well, as they seemed to hole up for 2 days. Toward the end of the hunt they started to be more vocal, and move a little more during daylight hours.

Best of luck to those that are still out there, and those with hunts still to come. I hope you have as good of a time as I had. I was able to spend around 20 days in the field, doing what I love to do. Now the LONG wait before I get a chance for this tag again.

Way to go and not give up when the going got tough as you usually does bow hunting. No such thing as a give me- you earned him and now can enjoy all of your hard enough.

Way to stick it out and get it done on a sweet bull sir....

I love it when you find 'em layin right under your bow..! :)

That's a bruiser bull for sure. He's got so much character. Way to get it done during an "unusual year". Fine, fine trophy.
