Christmas Gifts.. What did you get?

Hi everybody,

I was wondering what everyone got for Christmas. Good gifts, Bad gifts, Stupid gifts? For me, my wife really surprised me with a couple of really good gifts. First a small folding knife that was made by Bob Ham (South Carolina knife maker) that I have been wanting for a longtime and a Benelli Super Black Eagle II 12ga. with a 26" barrel. I couldn't believe it, I wanted that shotgun for so long and just couldn't bring myself to buy one, I have other shotguns so it was one of those things that I didn't need but REALLY wanted. She talked to my Dove hunting buddy so she even got the barrel length right. It was like being a kid again on Christmas.

Well i got my sweetheart a $2k "journey" diamond pendant, and she got me a $20 Cabala's sleeping bag in return.....WTF???

Guess she was mad that i bought a .204 for myself last week ;-)

Boy some women.. You went out of your way to go buy the .204 and saved her the trouble of shopping for it, I mean how many husbands would be that thoughtful and caring of their wife???

I got my first wife a dozen goose decoys one year, that didn't go over too well.

Notice i said "1st wife"?
And this one (fience')gave me a cheap sleeping bag???

Maybe i need to change my ways of thinking...i must be doing something wrong!!!

I definitely got spoiled this year. My wife got me swarovski 10X42 EL's, Leica Rangefinder, and then to top it off a 12 day backpack dall sheep hunt for 2009.

Same here, But i am still happy with my Benelli..

I thought I was getting a a new tripod and adapter for Christmas and ended up getting a new shed for all my tools and lawn equipment. Not as fun as a tripod but I guess it was much more useful. Got the kids a Wii and I ended up getting a hunting game for it. Pretty cool. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. My parents just left to head back to Idaho this morning so it was pretty good having them here.
