lots of muley points...need advice

LAST EDITED ON Jan-03-08 AT 02:57PM (MST)[p]I have quite a few points saved up for mule deer and i am obviously wanting to harvest a nice buck. i have heard a little bit about the ranching for wildlife program, and in particular the ranch 'Kiowa Creek'. it is located north east of colorado springs. has anybody heard anything about this ranch??? I think it was formerly named 'Bijou Springs'. any info would be greatly appreciated.

It's a dang good RFW property. If you have 13 or more points your in the running. You should be able to kill a 190 or better. Unfortunately, they don't take the public until around Christmas so you are getting whatever is left and you have to deal with broken antlers. All in all though, a very good property that I am saving up for also. The head honcho and his son run a pretty good outfit, mostly catering to the big money. A buddy of mine killed a 197 a few years ago after 1 1/2 days of hunting. Good luck.
