Seen some big 'ol muley (180-190ish) bucks in 18 while whitetail hunting over the years. Actually came upon a
real heavy horned 170ish type buck that had his antlers wrapped up in a barb wire fence! Always around mid November. There used to be a late controlled hunt but I'm pretty sure they did away with it. I'm inclined to believe a fair percentage of that herd migrate from the Seven Devils vicinity but I've frankly never researched it much. There are defineatly mulies in 14 as well..... never seen anything huge but gotta believe there are probably some around. Think the Gospel Hump wilderness lies at least partially in the unit. The terrain in both units is very verticle, steep as hell. I've whitetail hunted in both units and would describe the hunting as good. Pretty much always got my buck and a couple decent ones..........
