This deer was havested in a 0 point area in western CO unit. I was told that there is a story on it in this months issue of Eastmans but I dont recieve it so I am not sure if this the same buck.

I'm ammending my new year resolution to include finding that deers brother!!!

WOW.

coloradoak,
It says in Eastmans his name is Chuck Ballenger. A awesome buck.

Nice buck! But man, velvet racks are not my cup of tea. UGLY! I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

almost positive that he stuck that buck with a arrow. what a monster. bases are unreal!

the only eagle with enough power and speed to kill and gut you with one shot

I have to agree with 2pointer. Nothing is prettier than a buck in full velvet with his gray coat(orange summer coat is ugly). Velvet can look bad if it is rubbed or torn off in some spots. This bucks velvet is in perfect shape and what an awesome buck!

i third the velvet, there in nothing better lookin than a nice buck in velvet other than my woman lol hell of a buck

I am a dedicated Bow Hunter,One of the reasons i am so into it is seeing big mule deer and elk in August ,early September in FULL VELVET.I love this time of year for watching and hunting here in NV.Either way ,to each his own .

Holy WOW! That is a smoker for sure! Congrats to the hunter!

Thats one heck of a buck but how about a photo without the guy sitting way behind it! I hate those photos! Gee lets see, you sit ten feet behind it and I will shoot with a wide angle and I will move real close and crowd you. There. Now it looks twice as big! wtf
