Deep creeks in utah

I'm considering putting in for the deep creeks in Utah next year. I have enough points to draw archery, muzzy, and late rifle. Give me your input on what hunt would be the most fun? The deep creeks have always sparked my interest. I plan on exploring the unit this spring and summer. Also I live in Saint George Utah what's the best way to get there from Saint George? Thanks for any input.

I wouldn't waste points on the deep creeks. The elk hang on the Indian, so you will be trying to catch them on the edges, takes a lot of the fun and relaxation out of the hunt. Way better units around.

If you are set on the deeps I'd go muzz. But it has gone way down hill the last 5 years. There are a few big bulls but I'd look at other units

I don't need a monster bull. I would be happy with a 300" bull. I just thought it would be a good way to explore new areas. I've been thinking la sal late also. Idk I'll probably just keep putting in for swd muzzy.

How many points do you have?

Look at the harvest percentages for the hunts there to help you determine what is the best one. The odds of success give idea on how good the hunt and then if wanting to hunt rut the muzzleloader is best unless moon phase isn't best.
