Colorado unit 70 or 75?

looking at the 3rd hunt in unit 70 or the 4th hunt in 75. Anyone been on either of these hunts that would be willing to share their experiences or opinions? Thanks, I appreciate the information.

HUNTED 75 FOR ELK IN FIRST ELK (2005) ONLY SEASON, WONT GO BACK AGAIN WITH OUT A DEER TAG IN MY POCKET... SAW SOME THUMPERS. A GROUP FROM MY HOME TOWN TRIED 70 FOR DEER, NOT A GREAT HUNT FOR THEM....THEY HAVE SINCE HUNTED TO THE SOUTH.....YD.

I have hunted 3rd season 75
deer a couple of times, both
times it has been tuff, Third
season the majority of the deer
move down out of national forest
into checker boarded BLM with
lots of private.

The BLM is swamped with hunters,
If a person could get on private
you could do well but I have spent
2 years trying to no avail.

Have hunted first season elk in 75. Definitely has deer. Saw the biggest typical on the hoof that I ever have had the pleasure of seeing. My Dad had a 28" non typical walk up to five feet from him as it was moving away from some elk.
