New Mexico unit 15

After years of applying for numerous states I finally pulled a tag without having max points. To say I was shocked is an understatement.
I haven't posted on this board but read often as there is an overwhelming amount of knowledge and a lot of helpful informative people.
I've ordered maps and started the research of a unit that I haven't stepped foot on yet. Learning & seeing new country is half the fun of a hunt in my opinion.
Anyhow, If anyone is out there that has information willing to share, I would certainly love to hear your stories & capture as much info as possible.
Late November with a muzzy is going to be a blast!

Unit 15 is a wonderful elk unit, one of my very favorite places to hunt elk. I'd suggest you look in some of the more remote country in the unit at that time of year. Don't overlook all the country to the north end of the unit as it tends to have pretty good numbers of elk.
