Wasatch LE Muzzy elk

I drew this tag and of course I am looking for a couple places to start scouting or any advice from someone who has hunted it in the last couple years. I live about 3 hours from the unit and plan on putting in my time scouting over the summer.

I have access to prime private land goose hunting near American Falls reservoir (Idaho)and would be happy to swap for some info on this elk hunt. Also know some decent OTC deer units in Idaho that I could help someone with.

Prefer PM's but will be thankful for anything.

What are your hiking abilities?

Hiking in is the easy part, packing out an elk is another thing, right?

I'm not going to climb the Tetons any time soon but I can get around the mountains.

I have heloped on several muzz Wasatch hunts, and will be again this year.
it is awesome.
Learn the country this summer, and then plan to scout just before the hunt opens.
Things will really change due to the rut, and the rifle hunt.
