Maybe 350 now, but that bull should have around 5 more weeks of growth. A dandy bull.

Yep, look at the rack compared to body size. 350 and growing. Great Trophy in my book , I'll be chasing them soon. Doesn't look like an older bull 10-12 yrs but he has it going.

that bull can only be as big as he grows--if he finishes real strong he could be nice but he doesn't appear to be bulbing much but he has awhile to push

Those big ones are mostly grown out by the fourth of July, might even be earlier this year with all the rain.

by 4th of july they are basically done. it takes time for antlers to harden so they can rub them. what you see now is what you get come September. yes there is the rare case where some bulls will put on a couple inches first couple weeks of july but don't count on it. he is done growing.

I'm no expert in antler growth, but I have read from multiple sources that elk can put on an inch a day in growth during peak times. From elk I have watched it is about mid July before big bulls are done. I agree this bull is about done. Especially on his front end. I would think he still has some growth on the back end. 4th, 5th, and beam. What is everyone thoughts? does he have another 10-15 inches left from this picture?
