Searching for a Taxi

I'm in Northern Utah and have a great elk tag this year, I would like to see some work from some taxi's in Northern UT, Southern ID. I haven't needed any work done for a few years and I'm hoping I will be in need this year. Feel free to PM me or put it on here for everyone to see.

I PM'd you a couple taxidermists you should definitely look into, but will also post them here: Josh Hunt from Deer Creek Wildlife Studio out of Morgan, UT and Dustin Beratto from Beratto's Taxidermy out of Herriman, UT.

Dustin has done an elk for me and just finished my Dad's bull from last year and does great work. We are picking up my Dad's finished bull tomorrow night so I will take some pics and post them to check out.

Josh Hunt has done work for a couple of friends and he is an extremely talented taxidermist as well. Check out his website at http://deercreekwildlife.blogspot.com/

Curtis wilson- monarch mountain taxidermy in south Jordan does awesome work. Work. He has done several elk for me over the years and always does a really nice job.

Not sure where exactly in northern Utah you are talking about. But I would get ahold of sticks Taxidermy in Huntsville. He does an unbelievable job and is lower priced than most. I have him a chance a few years back and now everyone I know uses him.

Not sure how far north you're talking, but Blue Ridge Taxidermy does great work. He is in the Riverton Area. You can check out his work on Facebook. He probably has a website as well. Good luck

Another vote for Josh Hunt. He is currently doing last year's elk for me, and did another last year. The elk he did last year is 7th from the bottom of his elk pics.

Josh does awesome work, and has a very fast turnaround time as well. I took my bull to him in December and it should be done within the next couple of weeks. He is in Morgan.

I'd recommend Mike at Sage Basin (www.sagebasin.com). He's done a couple mule deer shoulder mounts and an elk shoulder mount for me and I couldn't be happier.

Agree with Cutbow, Sage basin would be worth the drive. Mike does awesome work, has a very good turn around, genuine and honest. You will be very pleased with the mount.
