It's funny how the DWR will let someone shoot a bull like this in a "Spike" Unit and then punish you as a poacher if you shoot a yearling bull with spikes and a 1" fork on each antler.
I also like the Utah rule, I know unit 10 in Colorado has a ton bulls like this that will never, or rarely be shot due to the very low number of tags given and the fact that it takes a guy 18+ years to draw a tag for it. I see bulls like this every year over there and they never have to worry about being shot.
Not always Idaho75, there area I was talking about has way to many of them for it to be injury related, also I see young ones every year that start out with a funky look.
I'm pretty sure there is a funky genetic running through that herd.
