Southern Utah Areas

My uncle, who taught me to hunt and fall in love with the outdoors is finally getting too old to hunt on his own. He lives in Arizona. I would like to take him elk hunting and when he heard elk tags were over the counter in Utah he got pretty excited. I thought if we could find an area in Southern Utah it would be easy for him to drive there. Any advice or suggestions on where to go. I am from Northern Utah and don't know the south at all. Prefer an any bull unit but he might be okay with a spike. Thanks.

I'd go spike if you want him to have a shot opportunity. The southern any bull units are some of the thinnest herds in the state.
