I have a friend that drew unit 124-1 for elk. He has limited vacation and is running a little low on gas money. This will limit his chances to scout the area. Does anyone have any info on were to start looking for elk on this unit. This unit encompasses a good chunk of land, so a little help on were to start wouldn't hurt. It seems the chance of drawing this unit are worse than your chances of getting hit by lightning. But like the saying goes someone has to draw and it just so happened to be my friend this time. Any help would be appreciated.
