Idaho Regs Online!

Dax,

I got them about half loaded. Just enough to see 200 tags for a controlled hunt in 78. Interesting for sure...could be something in a few years. Might give us a glimpse of what the Cache is capable of...;-)

maybe the server has crapped out...
it said it would take 1 hour 48min to DL at 9k per sec...

rechecked it and it say's the file is corrupted and can not be opened...

You read my mind Paul. 200 tags...factor in the current situation, this years winter/fawn loss, and I think in 4-6 years that will be a pretty fun tag. Wonder what the draw odds will be? Neat country, I started buying ID deer tags the year that they got rid of the controlled Nov. muzz hunt up there. I just missed the boat there, that would have been a fun one, but it wasn't sustainable. I guess if I don't draw CO or NV I might just buy a good old ID tag again.

I've got a little over half of it downloaded in 1 hour 20 minutes. Their server must be bombarded. I have high speed cable and should be able to put down 6.6 Meg in under a minute. Try back in a day or two.

I downloaded entire brochure at work earlier this afternoon, but can only get about 3.5 mb at home.

IDFG originally proposed to have a "high quality" November hunt in unit 78 in addition to the "quality" October hunt--I suspect that they may implement that in a few years if things work out. Much of this unit is seems like better elk habitat than deer habitat, but it could turn out to be a real gem in rough. Has ID or UT ever managed hunter numbers on the Cache?? As mentioned above, this should be interesting.

ive got the controlled deer and general deer downloaded, took about 10 min, and ive just left them up throughout the night so i dont have to go thru it again

pm me if ya have any specific ?'s ya want answered "NOW"

Year after year, Idaho does
something different thinking
it will help, all they care about
is tag sells.

The herds in 78 started to come
back following the bad winter
of 92 93 but then they have that
late muzzy hunt and wipe it out
after a few years, there were a
lot of bucks killed, and it still
hasen't recovered!

I will say it again, Idaho is the
most miss managed state in the west !!!!
