UTAH Southeastern Buck Hunt

I just drew a general buck tag for Utah's southeastern region. I have never hunted Utah before and wanted to give it a shot. I have never been in the southeastern region before and would appreciate any advice on some good locations to try. I really appreciate your assistance. Thanks

This is a big region but 90% of those hunting come to the Wasatch Plaetue. It seems as though most people on the Wasatch Front that draw this tag come here because it is closer, and they can drive around on the top of it on a nice road and not get off there hind ends.

Get their early and dig a shelter. I hunted the SE region near Montecello a few years ago and opening morning was sounded like shock and awe hitting Bagdad. When the sun cam up it looked like an orange tsunami coming at me. Killed a 140 buck the second day and got the hell out of there. Good luck!

Thanks for all the assistance on what to expect, I really appreciate it.

You should hunt Fairview Canyon. Or 12 mile Canyon, but no where in between.. ha ha Just kidding.
