Current creek late cow tag for youth- Need help

I have a youth hunter that has never shot an elk or a deer before. He has drawn a late Cow tag for Current creek Utah, that starts this Saturday the 16th. I'm not looking for anyones honey hole or any, But any advice on where to find the elk this time of year up there would be great. This kid is excited and I want to help him be successful.

Unfortunately those cow tags are almost worthless, as many people will tell you. It is a very difficult hunt and there are very few elk. This has been a very hot topic in recent years as tonwhy the DWR continues to give so many cow tags for this area. (Just want to make money off us all.)
All I can tell you is it is not fun hiking into the moutains, going up Daniel's canyon. There is a lot of snow there too, on the east side. I'm sure that this is the same area you have a tag for.

PM me your phone number, and I can tell you exactly where to find a pile of them. Public ground. Would be a good spot for a guy to slip up on them, but would require a bit of a walk.
