Big Buck/sad deal

Saw this big boy in the ditch on my way to work this morning, he made it threw a tuff winter just to be waisted by a motorist.

To bad! he looked to be a real cluncker!

Too bad, always a said sight.....but those look like some mighty tasty roadkill steaks.

That suck I have seen that deer every day for about a month, and saw him dead yesterday as well.

I stopped and looked at this dead buck also, and compared his right antler to a shed antler that was picked up earlier this season within yards of the kill scene, maybe the same buck. Lots of mass at base of right antler. Another large buck was killed just a couple of weeks ago near the same spot. A 4-lane highway passes this area along farm fields, subdivisions, river bottoms. Providence/Nibley, Utah. It is a sad deal when a nice buck misjudges his speed against a vehicle's. What a waste.
