Colorado 68

[HuntElk4Fun]

I posted this on the Colorado forum, but figured it would get more traffic over here. Anyone ever set foot or hunted in 68 in Colorado? Our little group will be hunting there in mid November and I'm trying to gather some general information. We have called the biologist and began doing some map legwork, but just curious if any fellow MM'ers have hunted it? Thanks for any information.

I archery hunted there in 2006. The area we hunted was beautiful, and rugged, but the elk were scarce. I hunted six days and saw seven elk including one spindly little legal raghorn. All six of us came home empty.

See many deer? I've hunted the same mountain on the other side in 67 and it was amazing country up high. Thanks for your help.

I did not see many deer but the bucks I saw were pretty big. I will get out my maps and let you know where I was hunting. I think we hunted around Storm Mountain, or Storm King Mountain. I can't really remember what it was called.
