Well, I've been fortunate enough to draw a tag this year and was hoping some of you might be able to help me out.

I'm not asking for anyones GPS coordinates to their hard earned spots, but am hoping for some general directions. IF you really want to give me them coordinates though, I'll gladly accept them. Heh heh heh! GPS coordinates to a 200" deer will get you a free shoulder mount BTW......Aw heck, for a 200" deer I'd do you a lifesize mount! ;^)

I'm looking to do a 7-10 day back-pack hunt starting Aug-8-9th, and was hoping to get some direction for a good place to start. I'm in pretty good condition, and this won't be my "first barbeque" as they say down here. Thanks,

Bill Watts

You can go just about anywhere and find good bucks. Green Mountain, Lamoille Canyon, Secret Pass, Overland Lake to name a few. fatrooster.

+2 how far are you going it will tell how many places that you will see witha few big bucks, I think the secert is to find a place with good numbers(bucks) and some great glassing points.
