I just finished up a great elk hunt, helping a friend who had a mobility impaired tag for 16A. The fellow had a hard time walking, as he has a prosthetic knee and both hips, plus other ailments.
It was a wonderful hunt, guided by Andy Carrejo of G3 Outfitters. This was my buddy's first ever elk hunt and he shot a beautiful bull.

The reason I wanted to post though is to make all 16A bound hunters aware of a great place to stay on your hunt. The N Bar ranch is located in the south central portion of 16A, about 50 road miles from Reserve. The accommodations were comfortable small cabins with 2 beds per cabin. They provide meals, have showers and I think it's well worth considering for any 16A hunts. I highly recommend the N Bar Ranch.

You can check out their website at www.Nbarranch.com.

I can't seem to post the pictures from my iPhone. If anyone can help with how to post from phone, I'll post a pic.

E-mail the photo to yourself and then upload it from a lap/desktop

I've been putting in for 9 years for archery with no luck. I put my wife in on the rifle hunt and she drew it. Not once not twice but 3 fricken times in a row. 30 years of hunting elk with nothing bigger than a 300 class bull.I watched her drop a 300 class on her 1st hunt and a 368 on the 2nd and 3rd hunt we ate the tag as she was not gonna shoot anything smaller. Long story short I have to live with the fact that the wife has a bigger bull than me in just 2 years. While I wait for my archery tag. Lol

I finally got onto a computer where I could post his picture (doesn't work from an iPad, which is what I've been using).
Here is my buddy, with the first bull of his life. He's 61 and this was a 'mobility impaired' hunt, as he has 2 prosthetic hips and a prosthetic knee and can't walk very well. All things considered, he did darn good.

I have no idea why it is displaying upside down. I have the picture right side up in my photo library. Oh well, hope you get an idea of how nice his first bull is.

Way nice bull and you're a good bud to help him out!
Congratulations!

Now, about a wife's bull being bigger than yours.
I know all about "bull envy". My wife has hunted bulls once and killed a 383" whopper. I've hunted them my whole life and have a gaggle of 300+/- bulls.....but who's complaining? And I wouldn't have it any other way! I just smile.
