Janssens Adventure Outfitters tripod

Does anyone have any experience with the Hunt Pod tripod sold by Janssens Adventure Outfitters. I am particularly interested in the fluid head. I am seriously looking at purchasing this or the JW fluid head....any comparisons between the two would be great.

I have a hunt-pod. LOVE IT!!!!

It is not a fluid head type. It came with the 'Manfrotto 700RC2' head. It works great.

I think I paid about $269.00.

The only problem is screws getting loose, One other issue is the brass screws that hold the spotting scope in place has a tendency to bend if not screwed tight after every use. This is due in large part to riding my 4 wheeler around the vast rough country I hunt. Eastern Oregon, Northern Nevada and Southern Idaho.

I would still give this a rating of 9.8 out of 10.

I have a hunt-pod with a Manfrotto pistol grip. I like it a lot. It is not for tall guys to use standing up but, I'm only 5'9". I haven't had any problems with screws or anything.
