Wyoming 106 Elk Late

Well kind of a knee jerk but my dad and I decided last night to pull the trigger on the late elk hunt in 106. I am excited to try something a little different as I have never hunted late season elk before. Just wondering if anyone has hunted on this tag before, just curious what to expect as far as access, pressure and the caliber of elk a guy will be looking at. Thanks for any input, good luck to everyone in the draws this year!

Do you have access to private land in the unit? If not you may want to change your application before it's too late. I did my own research on the unit and I spoke with the local game warden, he told me every year there are poor non-residents that didn't do their homework and quickly find they have no good places to hunt. Just what I have found, maybe someone else give a differing opinion. Good luck.
