C'mere deer ???

I have used it before. It works great on Does, I have had does come up and circle me at 15-20 yards convinced I had one of there fawns. Bucks don't seem to respond very well to it in my experience, they might get curious and take a couple steps closer to look but a alot of times they just take off the other way.

I did get a response from a couple lions years ago on the Paunsagaunt. A buddy and I were sitting on a cliff watching some deer when they took off and a family of cats came into the the are. I blew the C'mere deer call a few times and the cats turned and came to the bottom of the cliff we were sitting on. It was getting dark and we were unarmed so we beat it back to the truck.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-06-08 AT 09:50AM (MST)[p]I tried this stuff and NO way it works. I had a scouting camera up for over a month and it was never touched. They stood on it never even began to eat it. I will try deer cane, this was on whitetail

Just curious-where do you get that deer co-caine stuff?I can't find it in cabela's.Is it even legal?I also heard about some kind of attractant called stump licker.Anyone heard of this?

I buy it at the local Archery shop. Abuddy of mine says that he saw it at Sportsman's Warehouse, but I haven't checked there myself.

The guys at the Archery shop said it was, but I wanted to make sure so I read the proclamation and couldn't find anything about it so I decided to buy some and try it with my trail cam's.

Hey overkill are you talking about food plots? I think MBM thought you were talking about the K'meer Deer mouth call. He's right on about the mouth call, but maybe there was some confusion as to exactly what you were refering to.

I've purchased it at Sportsmen's Warehouse. I use combo of Deer Cocain and live stock mineral blocks for desert deer. Don't think its been in place long enough to see consistent results but I think it'll eventually start bringing them in.

The item I am referring to is a powder that you sprinkle on the ground that deer will apparently eat. Here is the link.

I am not sure without looking it up, but i dont think this would be legal in utah, last i looked, it was not leagal to bait big game.

I just re-read the section of the Guidebook that deals with Prohibited Hunting Methods and it covers Party Hunting, Spotlighting, Use of Aircraft, and use of Dogs. But it doesn't mention baiting, unless I just missed it or something. I did run a search of "baiting" on their website and it brought up a few articles that mention restrictions on baiting for Turkey, Bear and Waterfowl. But I could not find one dealing with Deer, Elk etc.

The spots where I have used it I wouldn't be able to hunt deer on them because they only hit them at night. So it has helped to figure out what is in the area and that's about it. The only thing that hits it during the day are Does, the Bucks all come in at night.

I'vre tried peanut bucker and they took down the tree to get it all out. They had smashed the can with their hooves to get out as much as they could. It was pretty funny.

>Just curious, has anyone used C'Mere
>Deer to attract Mule Deer?
>Absolutely tried it " DOES NOT WORK" Garbage, and you cannot use it in CO do not waste your money, if anything it chased them away. I don't know why,
