Turned out pretty sweet. The skull looks legit and they were very easy to use. Mike-- just grinding the pedicle down a bit really made the angle the antlers lay at a lot more symmetrical. Thanks for the tips. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

FYI-- I've posted these sheds before and they're not from the same deer. I put them in front of the electrical outlet to let the mass show off. With the big brows, bases and mass I think they could work together? I wish I had a match to the typical side--

Yes, synthetic skulls. They're very realistic. Mountain Mike's is the brand and they advertise them on the banners on this site. About 50 bucks and well worth it! They come with two skull plates for different mass pedicles. I bought mine through Cabelas and it took a week or so. No on the elk skulls yet.
