Northwest Wy Bear hunt?

Any question asked about hunting in area above Sunlight in Beartooths is usually answered with a comment about the grizzlys up there.
Any one see any black bear while hunting or hiking there? Wondered if would be good to have a black bear tag while I'm there hunting elk.
Hope grizzly season in Wy is not far off. Though,bet it will cost alot of pennies to do that hunt. And any one got insider info on a possibility of wolf tags for 2017?

It's a good idea to have a tag. I've seen some nice black bears up there over the years.

Not to be a downer, but I have spent a lot of time around sunlight basin and I think the grizzlies have pushed most all of the black bears out. But, it only takes one.

There is black bears in certain areas in the Beartooths, seen a few over the years hiking. My Karelian tree'd one up a couple summers ago too.
