I went scouting and here are a few of some that were close enough to take pics of. The first one is on the 4th of July weekend. Cannot wait to take the wife.

This buck had a nice typical frame and 2 nice kickers on the left and one on the right with good brow tines. cool buck

My wife was not as impressed with this buck as I was. He was not real wide but he had great mass and long tines. The two extras he was sporting helped. esprecially the long one on the left side. anyone else have an oppinion? shooter or not?

Shooter or not? If I come across him he is. looks close to 180 I think. definitely a shooter in the Book Cliffs. If your wife isn't interested I'll gladly take directions to his whereabouts.

Nice pics! My opinion is if you have the chance you better shoot that buck in the last picture. Forget width, that last buck is a smoker!!!

Awesome Buck... definitely a shooter. He may suprise you on how well he scores. Regardless of width, that buck is a mid to high 180's caliber deer.

I love a good tall buck with deep forks. Looks like you had a great scouting trip. I'd shoot the buck in to bottom pitures for sure.

That last buck is a DEFINITE, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT shooter on the Book Cliffs. If you pass on him, you may live to regret it

tell your wife SOMETIMES is not about size it about how it scores. Tha last buck is a smoker you best kill him if you get the chance you might not see a better buck during your wife's hunt.

I think that's a great buck, VERY much like one I killed there in 2006.

If you have a chance at a buck like that on the Book Cliffs during hunt time and you don't tkae it, i promise you will be regretting it forever.

If you get a crack at this bad boy, don't even think twice about it ;-)

All great bucks, way above average. That bottom buck is heavy! Definite takers in my book. If you are holding out for something bigger be prepared to come home empty.

She said she would have smoked the middle buck because of the long eye guards and trash on both sides. He also has long points and big brow tines.

I will try and post more pics on my next couple visits down there.
