LAST EDITED ON Sep-03-08 AT 06:39PM (MST)[p]I went out Monday morning to take one last look at the area I plan on hunting. We were happy to see fresh snow and it made the hike a lot cooler than normal. I found this buck and he will be my #1 focus on the muzzy opener. His left beam curves up and in and looks like a whitetail. The right side is palmated and has extra points. I think he is pretty cool, sorry I don't have a better picture. It was sweet to be hiking in a snowstorm and see velvet antlers.

Here he is

Here is my ugly mug sucking air at that alt. Notice the sweet hat.

Good luck, I'd like to have a better look at him. Let us know how it turns out.
