Great Archery hunt in AZ

Nice bull. He has quite a few arrows from different angles in him. Previous poster was very aware!

Yes You did have a very good time in AZ.
Good looking bull. Got to be happy with that one.

I shot him once at 37 yards, single shot double long. Not sure where that idea came from. I pulled the arrow out and lay it by him.

I was very lucky, I only had 6 points. Season started really slow just like rest of the SW states as I hear but it start picking up when bigger bulls start showing up. There were so many satellite bulls but when the big boys start coming down they were getting their butt handed to them. Lead cows are responsible for the safety of the herd bulls, in my case lead cow walked right front of me and this bull followed her, I was standing at s higher ground he walked about 37 yards right front of me and gave me a broadside, I hit him a bit high as I put my 40 yard pin on him but I'm glad I double long him on top left side. He went about 125 yards but there was so much blood trail that made it easy to find him, he was bleeding from both side. I'm proud of this bull, its a largest bull I ever got, I'm so grateful of a chance that I had to hunt in this unit as it's one of the toughest unit to draw for.
