Helped a friend get this one out this morning. We hunted this buck during the archery hunt, had some close encounters but no luck till now. I've got pictures but can't figure out how to resize them any help would be great thanks

If you start a free acount on photobucket.com and upload your photos from your computer, then attach the URL for that specific picture you won't have to resize them.

congrats and lookin' forward to seeing the pics.

Dang that Cody just keeps getting uglier and uglier. I guess now he can start going after the doggies. I've been slaying them up here lately. The BMG puts em down.

Beautiful buck , man that cape is awesome looking. Ciongrats on a heck of a nice deer....Thanx for sharing it...

Peakfreak, the story is this buck ran me ragged for 18 days on the archery hunt, 12 yard blown stalks! and countless no shows at the water holes he was using. Knowing the bucks morning pattern, I was in position long before light. I could hear deer milling around and an occational clashing of antlers. I waited for light, the bucks were about 300 yards directly below me. I took off my backpack left the 20x60x80 swarovski spotting scope, and stalked within 154 yards of the bucks. Still unaware of me I waited for the buck to feed out of the dead cedars. Finally he was clear of the trees I reddied my knight 50 cal and deliverwd a 270 grain platinum powerbelt on the right shoulder. He kicked and then dissapeared in the oak, he went 10 yards. It took 19 days to take this buck but I couldn't be happier.

KB,

Thanks for the cool story. Now I know why you look a little skinny. Was he an OV buck? Love his mass almost as much as your smile.LOL

Beautiful deer!!! Thanks for sharing the photos. How is it that you were able to hunt both the archery hunt and the muzzy hunt in the same area??? You said this was in Utah right???
